Annual Awards Program Showcases Outstanding Internet-of-Things Technologies, Products and Companies

St. John's, NL — On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, Newfoundland-based smart thermostat company Mysa was awarded ‘Smart Thermostat of the Year' in the Connected Home category of the prestigious IoT Breakthrough Awards. IoT Breakthrough, a leading market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global Internet-of-Things (IoT) market, showcases technologies and companies that drive innovation and exemplify the best in IoT technology solutions across the globe.

Mysa Co-Founder and CEO Josh Green shared the following on the company's notable win:

The mission of the IoT Breakthrough Awards program is to recognize the innovators, leaders and visionaries from around the globe in a range of IoT categories, including Industrial and Enterprise IoT, Smart City technology, Connected Home and Home Automation, Connected Car, and many more.

Previous winners of the Best Smart Thermostat Award in the Connected Home category of the IoT Breakthrough Awards include Honeywell, Nest, and Rheem. This year’s program attracted more than 3,850 nominations from companies all over the world.
