Don’t misunderstand my rating. I install literally hundreds of Mysa thermostats. Excellent products so this rating is really just in comparison to their other products. Overall it works great. 2 negatives are that the product was unable to match my remote code. Tech support was only available through website form and it took me 2 days to get a code. I had to return to the jobsite another day and lost a few hours of pay due to that. Once we got the correct code the thermostats ultimately worked but with a weird limitation. The units display Temp in Celsius and the Thermostat Fahrenheit. Not a big deal but I expect more from Mysa. Tech support quality has definitely declined. Power plug could also be better thought out especially for Wall Mounting. Overall innovative product and the App is top notch.

I’m still learning… but so far, I think it’s going to be great!

I use these for my vacation rentals. They help me control heating and air conditioning costs.

I’m very happy with my MYSA smart thermostat. It was easy to install and easy to program. Very dependable, no issues.

Works great with my Fujitsu mini splits.. i have 3 of them; need a dedicated 2.4 wifi connection or you’ll experience issues with other smart devices. Called the internet provider and have been problem free with everything since! Having wifi heat control is something you never think you’ll need.. until you experience the convenience!

Best to work with baseboard mysa. Should be fun to have more control over the conditionner, like the Gree application.

When I selected my heat pumps I wanted the ability to control them from my phone. I was disappointed with the glitchy device. Then became aware of Mysa. Got a free one from Efficiency NS and was immediately impressed. The device connected well and I now have one for every heat pump in the house. They are connected to Alexa, scheduled to turn on and off. On a recent trip as we were traveling home I checked the house temperature/ humidity and adjusted the settings. When we walked in the house it was perfect. Well done on this device I highly recommend it.

The only problem is that my split unit displays the temperature in Fahrenheit with the thermostat. Although my unit can display in Celsius with the original remote. Also when used for Dry setting I cannot turn off the unit unless I switch to Cool first.

The thermostat seems to be working as described. I haven’t used all the features yet as I have had it for just a short time. I like how it works and I will be ordering again for another mini split.

I am sooo thrilled with my MYSA MINI-SPLIT THERMOSTAT! (also my (8) YES (8) MYSA electric baseboard thermostats. From the installation & configuration/pairing to app - Everything worked flawlessly. The ability to control/monitor the temperature in ALL rooms remotely is FANTASTIC! Since this is a vac house, we are able to adjust temperature before we arrive. This home is rented periodically so upon guest departure we are able to remotely adjust temperature in house. I consider the thermostats as an INVESTMENT that will pay for itself as I am already seeing a savings! LOVE the app and all its features. I am a MYSA believer——HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!

Thermostat for a split/AC. It came quickly and looks nice. (4 stars). Control at setpoint is pretty good. (3 stars). Re. install: Getting it to work on my wifi was a nightmare however and tech support not helpful, finally stopped responding after I found an alternate use for it. (0 stars) Re. use: The minimum setpoint you can program is very high (18 C) which makes it pretty much useless for setback during the night or unoccupied periods. This is a major weakness as the whole point of the thing is to save energy. (1 star). Programming is not dynamic, so of you reset the temperature during a period it doesn not change until the next time the period begins and you have to change it manually. (3 stars, only because this is a minor inconvenience). Re. Customer support: Multiple automated responses and redundant happy messages but issues I had never addressed and when I got the unit to work elsewhere they just stopped responding, although still sending bot queries to make sure I was « happy ». (0 stars).

It’s okay, but it’s not the best. The thermostat itself displays Fahrenheit, but it changes my mini split to Celsius, which makes it confusing. According to technical support, this is expected behavior.

The Apple Home app integration is also hit or miss and can be glitchy. At this point, I don’t have much confidence that the bugs will be resolved anytime soon.

Personally, I would hold off on buying one until the software is more polished. Right now, it feels like a product that’s still in beta rather than a finished, reliable smart thermostat.

Good, but needs better control on “auto” fan speed.

Disappointed because this does not maintain a specific temperature. It controls the fan speed only to bring the temperature within range. For example the set point at 72 in cooling mode but actual temp gets to 68 but the unit continues to run. When the temp gets below the set point mysa should turn off the unit .. but it doesn't.. it just lowers the fan speed.

I told you already. I'm not very impressed.

Works great. I had a little problem getting it set up. After all the issues and some tech support i got it all set up.

Great product. Easy set up. Only wish it could be hardwired.

Split systems needed this device and the execution of the idea is excellent.

Installation is well guided and the thermostat is very versatile in terms of options for controlling the split system.

I have not used yet with the air conditioning mode but in the heating mode I am experiencing much more even heating without spikes of warm and cold periods.

I would welcome more details on the extent of control the thermostat exercises over the split system. For example, does the thermostat override the split system sensor when there is a call for heating or cooling. Another question is whether the differential I am experiencing in the heating mode is the result of a conflict between the Mysa sensor and the split system sensor.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the Mysa thermostat.

Love it. Works well easy install I like being able to turn the heat up in the garage before I actually go out in the garage

I have a couple of questions/suggestions. Can the AC be turned off from the Mysa, or do I need to use the old remote to do this? If it is not possible, there is a possible upgrade. The temperature range is too narrow. When away, we would normally lower the hold temp to 57 to 59F. The lowest the MYSA will go is 61. Also, at night in the bed room we would set it for the mid fifties. I would buy an additional MYSA if it had a low enough range to use in the bed room. Can you fix this? I do not know about the upper range when using it to cool, but we would normally set if for 76 to 80F. As I am playing with the unit, I am learning more. All together it is good. Thanks. Ray

The carrier head unit display is now Celsius. I can’t get it back to F. All the Apple home readings changed initially but they were all resolved by going to settings. The head unit won’t go back.This has caused my wife to not trust or use your device. Will you push a firmware update please.

Mini split thermostat works great. Only thing I don’t like is when the Mysa thermostat sends a command to the air handler it shows the temperature in Celsius on the air handler even though I have the setting on Fahrenheit on the thermostat. I changed the temperature on the air handler to Fahrenheit with the remote, but the Mysa thermostat changes is back to Celsius when it sends a command.

Very easy set up and works pretty much as expected. A very easy set up for scheduling to allow for reduce electricity consumption where heating or cooling is not needed.

I love my thermostat, easy to operate and very friendly. I will buy again anytime.

I had mysa baseboard heater thermostats and loved them. After installing a heat pump I purchased this product and quickly became very disappointed.

When it comes the design I really wish there was an option to wall mount these without a dangling cord.

Once I received the unit I immediately had issues powering it. There seemed to be loose connection, I had to wiggle the power cable until it finally powered on and if I moved it too much it could easily lose power.

While I had it up and running for a bit I tried to pair it with my Mitsubishi head units and it wasn't able to find my exact version. Offering less fan speeds and modes than my unit supported. This wasn't going to fly as it's winter and I need heating mode.

Overall, not impressed by this device. I loved their baseboard heater thermostats but these mini-split thermostats need a lot of work.
