Who is eligible?

You must be a BC Hydro residential account holder in British Columbia with an active MyHydro profile, own the home or be a tenant with owner consent, have electric baseboard heating, and not be on the E-Plus rate.

Do I need to enroll in Peak Saver?

Yes. The free Mysa Smart Thermostat for Baseboard Heater Gen 3 devices you receive, up to a maximum of 5, will be enrolled in Peak Saver. BC Hydro may adjust them by a couple of degrees during winter peak events. You can opt out of an event at any time.

What if I already own a Mysa?

You can enroll the Mysa you already have in Peak Saver now for a one-time $100 enrollment reward, plus a $50 seasonal reward each winter when you stay enrolled and participate in peak events. The offer for up to 5 free Mysa Smart Thermostat for Baseboard Heater Gen 3 devices is a separate program launching in early October.

Is this the same as the $100 enrollment reward?

No. The $100 bill credit is a Peak Saver enrollment reward for eligible thermostats you already buy or own. The offer for up to 5 free Mysa Smart Thermostat for Baseboard Heater Gen 3 devices is a separate BC Hydro program for eligible customers with electric baseboard heating, launching in early October.
