How to create and publish a blog article
In the Content tab of the Contentful dashboard, select Blog Post as the content type.
Click the blue Add Entry button and sub-select Blog Post as the content type.
Fill in the required fields.
Click the green Publish changes button.
It is a good practice to publish new articles first to the private Testing blog category where they can be previewed. Blog articles in the Testing category can be reviewed via the test environment blog.
When ready to publish to the live blogs on getmysa.com, select one or more additional public-facing categories.
How to unpublish a blog article
Navigate to the blog article's editor page in the Contentful dashboard.
Click the green Change status button and select Unpublish.
Unpublished articles are hidden from all blogs.
How to edit a blog article
Navigate to the blog article's editor page in the Contentful dashboard.
Update the article's form fields with any changes.
Review changes via the test environment blog (if the article references the Testing blog category). Note that changes appear immediately in the test environment, without needing to click the Publish changes button.
When ready to publish the changes to the blog(s), click the Publish changes button.
How to delete a blog article
Navigate to the blog article's editor page in the Contentful dashboard.
Click the three dots icon and select Delete.
Deleted articles are permanently removed from all blogs.
How to include images in a blog article
Navigate to the blog article's editor page in the Contentful dashboard.
Click the Open UploadCare button in the sidebar.
Use the UploadCare widget to select and upload images.
Uploaded images can be referenced in the Hero Image field by clicking the Add existing content button.
Uploaded images can also be embedded in the Rich Text Body field by clicking the +Embed button, clicking the Entry button, selecting UploadCare Asset as the content type, and then selecting the block.
How to include blocks in a blog article
Navigate to the blog article's editor page in the Contentful dashboard.
Blocks can be embedded in the Rich Text Body field by clicking the +Embed button, clicking the Entry button, selecting Block as the content type, and then selecting the block.
