Mysa's active rebates are listed on the Rebates Page (https://getmysa.com/pages/rebates)

Changes to the rebates page can be previewed in the test environment (https://mysa-test.myshopify.com/pages/rebates)

How to create a new rebate

  1. Navigate to the global-rebates-data block editor in the Contentful dashboard.

  2. The page will automatically scroll down to the More Data field. This is where all the rebate data is maintained.

  3. To create a new rebate, click the +Add Rebate link to the right of the relevant country heading (in red), either Canada (ca), or United States (us). New form fields will be displayed.

  4. Fill in the form fields (described below), then click the Add Rebate button.

"Add Rebate" form fields:

region-handle: this is the handle (unique identifier) for a region (a U.S. state or Canadian province). For example, ca-nl is the region handle for Newfoundland, Canada, and us-mn is the region handle for Minnesota, USA.

region-name: this is the readable name of a region. For example, Newfoundland & Labrador is the region name for ca-nl, and Minnesota is the region name for us-mn. Note that if the region already exists in the rebate data, this field can be left blank.

handle: this is the handle (unique identifier) for a rebate. They might reference a specific town or utility that is responsible for the rebate. For example, the Newfoundland rebate handle is takecharge-nl.

name: this is the readable name of a rebate. For example, takeCHARGE NL is the name of the takecharge-nl rebate.

amount: this is the amount of the rebate, denominated in dollars ($) or percentage (%) discount.

type: this is the type of the rebate. For a dollar amount discount, type the $ character. For a percentage discount, type the % character.

per: this is the copy that should appear as part of the rebate listing on the Rebates Page. For example: "/per thermostat" or "/per thermostat
up to 5
" or "/per thermostat
up to 1 per year
" are valid entries. Note that the
tag represents a new line.

text: this is the copy that should appear as the main body of the rebate listing. This copy can include HTML tags such as bold text and hyperlinks.

href: this is the http link for the "View Details" button.


How to update an existing rebate

  1. Navigate to the global-rebates-data block editor in the Contentful dashboard.

  2. Find the relevant rebate, and update the fields as required.

  3. Review the changes in the test environment.

  4. Publish the changes by clicking the Publish button.


How to remove an existing rebate

  1. Navigate to the global-rebates-data block editor in the Contentful dashboard.

  2. Find the relevant rebate, and click the -Remove Rebate link to the right of the rebate handle.

  3. Publish the changes by clicking the Publish button.
