We have one more set of small changes to implement that will bring the EMC performance into compliance that we will be testing over the next 1-2 weeks. This means that the earliest production can start is the last week of November with the first shipments to follow 1-2 weeks after. We are doing everything we can to move this process along as quickly as possible and we are expediting everything that we can. In the meantime, we have been putting the finishing touches on the mobile app that will be available in the app store and the Google play store in the next couple of weeks. Last week, our developers shared the latest build of the app with us for internal testing and it is really great! We think customers are going to love it!
As mentioned in our last update, the Mysa Smart thermostat has passed all electrical and mechanical safety testing for compliance with CSA and UL standards. The remaining piece is regarding EMC performance. Without passing these EMC tests we are not allowed to sell Mysa. However, we are making steady progress in addressing the EMC compliance issues. The changes we have implemented this far to improve the EMC performance of the thermostat include changing our power supply module and removing an unnecessary resistor. The graphs below show our progress towards EMC compliance.
