Saved Schedules

Applicable products: Mysa for Baseboards, Mysa for In-Floor, Mysa for AC and Mini-Splits

Scheduling is one of our customers’ most-loved features, so naturally we wanted to make it even more convenient to customize your home’s heating and cooling to your specific needs. 

Introducing: Saved Schedules!

Until now, you could only have one custom Schedule per Mysa. This meant that if you wanted to make changes to a Schedule, there was no way to preserve the existing Schedule for future use. This made Schedules handy, but also pretty inflexible.

With Saved Schedules, you can create and save multiple different custom Schedules and apply them to as many Mysas as you’d like, as needed.  

For example: if you work shifts, you can create two Saved Schedules called “Day Shift” and “Evening Shift” and easily switch between them depending on the week. 

Here’s how to save a Schedule:

1. Open the Mysa app

2. Select a Thermostat

3. Tap Schedule

4. Tap the three dots at the top right hand corner

5. Select Save Schedule

6. Name your Schedule 

7. Tap Next

8. You’ll see a list of your Saved Schedules

Here’s how to apply a Saved Schedule to a new thermostat:

1. Open the Mysa app

2. Go to the Main Menu and tap Saved Schedules

3. Tap the three dots beside a Saved Schedule

4. Tap Apply

5. Select the Thermostats you’d like to apply this Saved Schedule to

6. Tap Apply

Scheduled Off Mode

Applicable products: Mysa for Baseboard, Mysa for In-Floor 

Reason #12940 to switch to a smart thermostat: Did you know that it’s impossible to turn old programmable thermostats off completely? 

Until now, Off-Mode had to be enabled manually on a Mysa for Baseboard or In-Floor. This meant opening up the Mysa app and turning each thermostat off in real time. The thing is, when life gets busy, turning off your thermostat is likely the last thing on your mind.

With Scheduled Off-Mode, you can plan ahead for times when you won’t need heating or cooling at all by adding an Off-Mode event to your Mysa Schedule. 

For example: if you only use your home office on weekdays, there’s no need to be heating and cooling it on the weekend. In this case, simply schedule your Mysa to turn off every Friday evening and not turn back on until early Monday morning.

Filter Cleaning Reminders

Applicable products: Mysa for AC and Mini-Splits 

If your AC or mini-split is struggling to reach your desired set temperature, you may think it’s time to fork out hundreds or even thousands of dollars for a new unit. We have good news! The solution might be simpler than you think: a clean filter.

A clean filter is critical to running an energy efficient AC or mini-split heat pump. When a filter gets grimy or worn out, your AC or mini-split will end up using a ton of excess energy to do its job, which can quickly drive up your utility bill, not to mention leave you feeling hotter or colder than you should. 

Mysa’s new Filter Cleaning Reminders will help you keep your AC or mini-split running smoothly by letting you know when it's time to clean or replace your filter. 

To enable Filter Cleaning Reminder notifications, first you’ll want to make sure Smart Alerts are enabled.

Here’s how to enable Smart Alerts:

1. Open the Mysa app

2. Go to the Main Menu and tap Manage Mysa Homes

3. Select the home you want to enable Smart Alerts for

4. Tap Smart Alerts

5. Toggle Smart Alerts on

To enable Filter Cleaning Reminders, simply:

1. Select the Mysa device you want to have a Filter Cleaning Reminder on

2. Go to Settings

3. Set your reminder frequency (this depends on your needs and the needs of your particular unit)
